...i had the privilege of being a sponsor for the canadian country music awards (CCMA) vip gift lounge, produced by The Uptown GiftBox Company...it was a magical night of hanging out with famous people that didn't act very famous...

its been a while...but the 2009 holiday rush has finally slowed down, giving a little bit of time for an interesting custom job. 10 matching tool pouches for my good friend mike caluori of propwerks/fx (the most exciting custom prop shop in town).

it was nice to be back in the heritage hall sellin' leather bags and groovin' on main st.

this doctors bag is the next addition to fiveleft's custom leather bags

the new owner will be able to slide a laptop into its own pocket...there is an easily removeable shoulder strap as well...

well another fun custom fiveleft bag...

it is based on the chester's at lonsdale leather (see pic), and similar to my current lunchbox leather bag.

its rough cut and ready for the preliminary stitching.

if you love this bag there are two very similar ones at lloyds of gastown (one brown one black)

jamie d grant's magic bag

well, after much toil i finished the largest fiveleft leather bag to date.

jamie (an amazing vancouver magician) plans to us this monster to haul around pieces for his shows as well as use it on stage as a prop...

its interesting to work with a magician. he always had a trick to show everytime he came to the studio...though i was a little nervous on pay day (that whole slight-of-hand thing can really sneak up on you).
